Asian-Pacific Association for Biomechanics (APAB) was established in 2005 and had several international conferences. This year the 10th Asian-Pacific Conference on Biomechanics in 2019 will be held in Taipei, Taiwan. It is our honor to organize with APAB and Taiwanese Society of Biomechanics (TSB). The information of asking abstract is as follows and is kept updating continuously.

The Yamaguchi Medal
The Medal is named after Professor Takami Yamaguchi who is the Founding Chair of the Asian-Pacific Association for Biomechanics (APAB). The purpose of the Yamaguchi Medal is to support and encourage promising young researchers at the early stage of their career in the field of Biomechanics in the Asian-Pacific region. Following a rigorous assessment of all applications, the Yamaguchi Medals will be awarded to individuals who have best demonstrated excellence in their areas of research. A total of five Yamaguchi Medals will be awarded during the biennial Asian-Pacific Conference of Biomechanics or at other conferences endorsed by APAB. The five medals are for each of the following categories:
·Cardiovascular BioFluid Mechanics
·Bone and Joint Biomechanics
·Soft Tissue Mechanics
·Gait and Kinesiology
·Cellular and Molecular Biomechanics
Best Oral/Poster Awards
The awards recognize the best conference orals/posters presented at the 10th Asian-Pacific Conference on Biomechanics (AP Biomech 2019). All accepted abstracts will automatically be considered for the Best Oral/Poster Awards. The winners will be formally announced during the conference
